ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years proven experience in supermarket management.

Applicants must be capable of managing the daily operation of the store and assuming complete responsibility for the operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Applicants must be personable, team oriented and willing to motivate and train staff, and maintain high standards of product quality and service.

 

 

BAKERY MANAGER

Applicants must be qualified bakery managers with a minimum of three (3) years proven experience as a supermarket bakery manager.

Applicants must have strong leadership skills in order to be able to train and manage bakery employees.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective and creative management skills in order to control assets and maintain an efficient, sanitary, full-production operation that produces quality products, quality service and bottom line results.

An ability to work under minimum supervision is essential.

 

 

BAKER

Applicants must have minimum of two (2) years training and proven experience in a production bakery environment.

Knowledge of sweet goods would be an asset.

It is essential that applicants are willing to work long and irregular hours.

BOOKKEEPER

Applicants must be able to read, write and speak English; be computer literate; understand and follow directions; perform accurate data entry; work a 5-day week including Saturday; and help and relate to customers.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area; be willing to work in other company locations; and be willing to work longer hours during weeks on which a Public Holiday occurs.

Responsibilities of this position include: insuring that the cash office is efficiently managed and maintained; handling and reconciling cash, cash reports and invoices; accurate recording and efficient storing of invoices, sales records and deposits; and assisting and training cashiers on an as-needed basis.

 

 

BUTCHER

Applicants must be qualified butchers with a minimum of three (3) years proven experience in the preparation, production, storage and merchandising of fresh and frozen meat.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; tracking of product date codes; and case price verification.

 

 

CAKE DECORATOR

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs; and work in cool temperatures.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include assisting with the efficient operation of the bakery department and bakery equipment; product orders and customer orders; product storage, rotation, pricing, labeling, merchandising and packaging; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; and tracking of product date codes.

 

 

CASHIER

Applicants must be able to read, write and speak English; understand and follow directions; carry out tasks while standing; perform basic math skills; lift boxes of product; and help and relate to customers.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area; work Saturdays and Sundays; and be willing to work in other company locations.

Responsibilities of this position include handling and reconciling cash register; accurate and efficient ringing up; bagging groceries; returning products to proper location; replenishing bag supplies; and greeting and assisting customers.

 

 

CHEF DE PARTIE

Applicants must have an extensive variety of cooking skills and knowledge, combining imagination with practical food service application.

Applicants with a variety of specialty preparation skills such as proven experience in the preparation of Indian, Caribbean and/or Asian cuisine are preferred.

Applicants must be able to provide ongoing recipe development, menu planning and training.

Applicants must be willing to work evenings and some weekends.

 

 

DAIRY MERCHANDISER

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs; and work in cool temperatures.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include product storage; product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; tracking of product date codes; and case price verification.

 

 

 

FROZEN MERCHANDISER

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs; and work in cold temperatures.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include product storage; product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; tracking of product date codes; and case price verification.

 


GENERAL MERCHANDISE and HEALTH & BEAUTY MERCHANDISER

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs and push/pull 4 wheeled equipment loaded with product.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include shelf maintenance; accurate pricing; merchandising; product storage; product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; and case price verification.

 

 

HEAD SUPERMARKET CHEF

Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years culinary experience and training in classical cooking methods.

Applicants must have strong leadership skills in order to be able to motivate, train and manage staff in the production kitchen and deli.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective and creative management skills in order to control assets and maintain an efficient, sanitary, full-production operation that produces quality food, quality service and bottom line results in prepared food service sales.

An ability to work under minimum supervision and a passion and in depth knowledge of food is essential.

Responsibilities of this position include ongoing recipe development, menu planning, working weekends and evening shifts.

 

 

MEAT MANAGER

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years meat management experience in all aspects of fresh and frozen meat cutting and merchandising.

Applicants must have strong leadership skills in order to be able to motivate, train and manage butchers and meat merchandisers.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective and creative management skills in order to control assets and maintain an efficient, sanitary, full-production operation that produces quality products, quality service and bottom line results.  

An ability to work under minimum supervision is essential.  

 

 

PRODUCE MANAGER

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in retail produce management.

Applicants must have strong leadership skills in order to be able to motivate, train and manage produce merchandisers. 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective and creative management skills in order to control assets and maintain an efficient, sanitary, full-production operation that produces quality products, quality service and bottom line results.

An ability to work under minimum supervision is essential.

 

 

PRODUCE MERCHANDISER

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs, work in cool temperatures and push/pull 4 wheeled equipment loaded with product.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include product storage; product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; tracking of product date codes; and case price verification.

 

 

STORE MANAGER

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years proven experience in supermarket management.

Applicants must be able to assume complete responsibility for the operation of the store.

Applicants must be personable and be independent and have strong leadership skills in order to be able to train and manage store employees.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective and creative management skills in order to control assets and maintain an efficient, sanitary, full-production operation that produces quality products, quality service and bottom line results.

 

 

TRUCK DRIVER

Applicants must possess a valid heavy truck driver’s license; be able to understand and follow directions; be able to lift boxes up to 60lbs; and adhere to the rules of the road as prescribed by the law.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include product storage, loading and unloading; verification of product received against documentation; and assisting in the warehouse.

A Truck Driver will be responsible for the general maintenance of their vehicle and all contents carried in that vehicle.

 


WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Applicants must be able to understand and follow directions, carry out their tasks while standing, lift boxes up to 60lbs, work in cool and hot temperatures and push/pull 4 wheeled equipment loaded with product.

Applicants must be able to maintain a clean and orderly working area.

Responsibilities of this position include warehouse security; warehouse organization; product storage; product rotation; inventory preparation; verification of product received against invoice; tracking of product date codes; and case price verification.
